“I previously purchased your orange and bergamot deodorant and I found it was starting to burn my skin. I used your lemon and grapefruit deodorant and this one was perfectly fine so I have selected on this purchase different products”

Thank you for your review. We have an Indian Bay Leaf & Orange deodorant within our Strong Protection range which I believe you may be referring to as causing the irritation. It is a stronger formulation than the Grapefruit & Lemon so definitely a good choice to switch down. Do email us at hello@earthconscious.co.uk if you have any further problems so we can assist.

“New customer looking for a good eco deodorant. I’m afraid that this isn’t for me. I’m awake with itchy, sticky armpits that are red and uncomfortable after one use. Bought two different types, but will Not risk using them again.”

Sorry to hear that the deodorant wasn't suitable for you. We did email to assist. The deodorant you tried was from our strong protection range and our recommendation would be to try an unscented version from our regular range or our delicate range first.

“Very disappointed with the deceiving details on the final cost. No import fee was mentioned or taken into consideration during checkout. I was after surprised to pay an expensive customs fee of €16,54. Had I known from the beginning I wouldn’t have proceeded with the purchase.”

As emailed previously please get in touch when you are in receipt of the goods so we can help. Unfortunately there are customs implications when buying from the UK into the EU and we have now stopped shipping outside of the UK from our website.

“I thought I had ordered 2 x body bar, received 2 x empty tin. I double-checked the advert to see if I was being a thicko, but I still thought it misleading. Can't review the product for obvious reasons!”

Hello, We have emailed about your order but will email again. You placed an order for two storage tins which must have been an error whilst selecting the products so that is why you received two storage tins. To get the free tin you need to order ONE Body Bar and use the code then you would have received a FREE storage tin. Will email you to help.

“Very poor customer service. I placed my order on 30th March, it had not arrived by 12th April so I contacted Earth Conscious via email and received no response, still haven't received my order (20th April) which is a shame as the products are excellent.”

We have only received an email today which has been responded to immediately. The email address you emailed from today is not the registered address on your order. Having checked both email addresses we cannot find any previous emails. We have tracked your order via Royal Mail and it is showing as undelivered which does happen from time to time and of course a refund will be issued and we will track it further with RM. Sorry you have had this experience.

“Product became faulty after just using it 2 times. I wasn't even offered a refund by customer service, instead was only offered a replacement which i declined as I've gone back to using deadorant in plastic bottles as its more hassle free.”

Oh, that's a shame, would have liked the opportunity to see if we could help. Not sure which product you have tried but during the colder weather these types of oil and butter-based products are more solid but melt easily on contact with skin after a few moments. We also have different formulations for different needs so it may be a different scent or formulation is needed.

“I love your products and I used to buy them in UK whenever I was there. Due to travel restrictions, I decided to purchase three deodorants on your website, but I had some issues: 1. I ordered them on the 29th of March and they have not arrived yet (15th of April), due to long assessment procedures at postal offices (I live in Italy) 2. Shipping price is higher than the price of one single deodorant 3. Your e-mail asking for a review arrived three days after the order (which makes me think that you have no idea of the issues related to Brexit for international shipping) I do not recommend the online shopping to anyone and I strongly suggest that you explore some new ways to make your products available outside UK. I hope that the products' quality will be the same as usual and that they did not get damaged during the travel.... provided that at some point they will arrive.”

“I bought the jasmine and rose deodorant stick on the recommendation of a friend who really likes it. Unfortunately for me it made my skin very sore and after 2 days I have stopped using this and gone back to my regular deodorant which is a shame as I was looking forward to using this one.”

“I've been using natural deoderant for a while and tried yours recently. For both myself and my mum, it was not effective at all. It even made my mum's skin quite sore. Do you offer any money back or guarantee? We've not found this with any other brand.”

“I’ve used your tin deodorants (my favourite was the lavender and tea tree one) for at least 18 months now. I’ve recommended to lots of friends and I loved that product, I would of used it for the rest of my life. However when I went to order more I saw that they are no longer available, so I ordered 4 rose and jasmine stick deodorants. I’ve been using them for a couple of weeks and don’t like them at all. They don’t seem to be giving the same protection as the previous deodorant did, I go home feeling like I smell bad, and I’ve never been a smelly person! They are awkward to push out of the cardboard and you can’t put them back in when you have too much out. It’s all not as good as the tins in my opinion. So I’ve stopped using them and I’m really disappointed with your new product.”

“The lavender deodorant smells nice on its own but doesn't stop you from smelling bad and the scent changes when it mixes with your sweat (not pleasant at all!)”

Sorry to hear that the deodorant hasn't worked for you. As per our reviews it works incredibly well for so many people. The scent is subtle because it is 100% natural and we would only achieve stronger by using synthetic. It may be that your body needs a little time to adjust. Some people do find that they need a detox from their antiperspirants when first making the change.
